D. N. Borders has lived in Ohio all his life, but enjoyed visiting many other states while employed with a graphics company in his youth. He has since settled down in a small Ohio county, and lives a quiet life with his wife, their two children, and two very spoiled feline companions. He enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and fishing with his family. He has a degree in criminal justice and a passion for history, taking a special interest in Ohio history. His enjoyment of historical novels and his very active imagination led to his decision to write a series of fictional short stories.
